I had a client recently who complained that my practice and technique was not as comfortable as other services they had attended. In particular, the use of the Jobson-Horne probe, a tool to manually extract ear wax and dead skin was actually painful.
I was concerned that I had made the experience of a client less than what I would like to achieve but was extremely grateful for their candor and honestly. I consulted with some of my colleges and mentors regarding their own experience and sought to have my practice further critiqued.
Many clients have given me good feedback over the last several months. None have been taken lightly and I’ve implemented a number of suggestions, sometimes immediately.
Simple examples have been the suggestion to buy some form of hair clip or band to keep hair out of the way when working on the ear. Another client had experienced difficulty finding my premises due to inadequate signage, these two were addressed immediately.
I have not had any negative feedback regarding my practice, until now, and would welcome any concerns both from past or future clients.
Should you have a negative experience, let me know at the time or perhaps a phone call or email if you wanted to go away and think about your experience.
As part of on-going quality assurance, I welcome any comments, good or bad.
I take great pride in my work but also know that, to develop and improve, I also need an objective opinion.
Total Ear Hygiene is totally committed to safe and effective methods of Ear Wax removal.
