Ryland
Meet the bossy blonde behind Total Ear Hygiene; Ryland is a registered nurse who's as sharp-tongued as she is compassionate. Yes, you read that right; she can be downright sarcastic, but don't worry, she'll still treat your ears with the utmost care.
Though she aspires to cultivate a reputation reminiscent of Anna Wintour (think "The Devil Wears Prada,") this is a tad challenging when her work attire is a set of scrubs. While she is likely to tell you to ignore the Google reviews that say she is friendly and will try to have you believe she is fearless, now that you’ve read this you will know (and can rest assured) that’s all just a front and she’s actually extremely sensitive, with empathy to spare. Don’t let her height and superb RBF intimidate you.
With a background in emergency and general practice nursing, Ryland has seen a lot, and isn't afraid to tell it how it is.
Our sassy ear aficionado has been cleaning ears since 2017, starting as more of a part-time hobby before wholeheartedly committing to turning Total Ear Hygiene into a full-time business.
Don’t let her cool exterior fool you; underneath it all, she's committed to being the absolute best at what she does. Why? Because she cares about her work, and that's a level of dedication that shines through in every appointment.

Tayla
Tayla joined the TEH team in April 2024 after a brief hiatus from nursing for the arrival of her handsome son.
Ryland and Tayla first worked together at Mackay in 2020, in the fast-paced emergency department. They parted ways with Tayla heading north to Cairns, but remained firm friends, and when Ryland discovered that Tayla had moved back to Brisbane she was quick to offer her a position.
Tayla’s professionalism, intelligence, drive, and sense of fun are all reasons that we absolutely had to have her!
Now with her expertise in emergency nursing complemented by specialized training in ear care under Ryland’s guidance, Tayla is poised to make a lasting impact on the world of ear cleaning. Safety remains her top priority and she approaches each appointment with the same level of care and precision she brought to the emergency room.
